Raised in a family of entrepreneurs and farmers, he learned the values of hard work and persistence. His father, a key influence, often reminded him: “Music is for the soul; always be mindful of what your soul consumes.”

EK Nacosty attended Ekumfi Asokwa JHS and later Atlantic Wesleyan College for his secondary education.
