Award-winning musician Stonebwoy has revealed that he is not at all afraid of the prospect of filling the 22,000-seat O2 Arena in London.
He stated on Cape Coast’s Property FM, “As for the O2 Arena, it’s a venue that I’ve been to before and it’s not terrifying to fill but it’s just a matter of announcing and doing your promotion for people to come out in their numbers that’s all and it’ll happen.
He disclosed that having set up stages and played larger venues elsewhere, he could fill the O2 Arena with the correct promotional tactics.
In the previous two weeks, my brother Davido invited me to play at his event at Madison Square Garden, which has a capacity of around 20,000 people.
I also did a reggae festival in Austin, which has a capacity of about 20,000 people,” he said. “We’ve done a number of performances in these kinds of locations in terms of size; I’ve even done shows at the World Cup in Qatar, which has a 40k capacity, as well as Summer Jam, which has a capacity of thousands of people.
“Considering that even Ashaiman to the globe has a big capacity, I have experience on international platforms and have ascended some of the highest levels ever.
Filling the O2 Arena isn’t at all impossible, he assured the presenter, adding, “Even the O2 Arena has over 20k capacity if you remember two years ago Davido brought me on stage and it was great to witness people chant back my songs.
In the meantime, Stonebwoy and the widows of Kasoa celebrated Mother’s Day together on May 12. On this occasion, moms received special products as a token of appreciation for their devotion and selflessness.
