A Florida man was taken into custody after allegedly pulling a gun on another patron outside a bar during a heated dispute over a malfunctioning karaoke machine.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, Aaron Jablonski, 34, faces charges of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a felon. Law enforcement officials say the incident occurred on March 15 at the Overtime Sports Bar on Sunset Point Road in Clearwater.
Authorities report that Jablonski became visibly upset when the bar’s karaoke system malfunctioned. Frustrated by the disrupted entertainment, he eventually stepped outside. There, he encountered another patron who attempted to calm him down. However, Jablonski remained enraged, escalating the situation further.
During the exchange, Jablonski allegedly pulled a firearm from his waistband, aimed it at the other patron, and shouted: “I don’t f–––ing care.” Despite the aggressive stance, he did not fire the weapon. Instead, he removed a round from the chamber before walking away.

Following the altercation, the shaken patron quickly returned inside the bar and called 911. Responding officers arrested Jablonski later that night, placing him in custody with a $40,000 bond.
Jablonski was held in jail until March 18, when he was released after posting bail. A March 16 court hearing resulted in a judge issuing a no-contact order against him, prohibiting him from being within 500 feet of the victim. Additionally, he was banned from returning to the Overtime Sports Bar.
Though it remains unclear which prior felony led to Jablonski’s firearm restriction, records indicate that an individual with the same name has faced multiple felony charges in Pinellas County over the past 15 years. Many of those charges were later reduced to misdemeanors through plea agreements.
Jablonski now faces the reality of serious legal consequences, all stemming from what should have been a routine night of karaoke entertainment.
