“If my presence becomes a reason for discomfort to the country or government regarding these influential voices coming to educate not only Ghana but also Africa, I willingly sacrifice myself to unveil my identity.

I hold immense respect for the leaders accompanying me, and I would have chosen a different time to reveal myself. However, at this moment, I am offering this sacrifice to make it known that I am that man.

“I am that man with a noble purpose, a grand vision, and a plan for this nation. My vision extends beyond this nation; I have aspirations for Africa. Recognizing that Africa is the only continent yet to be fully developed, I am committed to this significant mission,” he affirmed.

As for the cancellation of the pan-African event organized by his foundation, The New African Foundation, the Presidency explained that it was due to an unforeseen state event scheduled at the same venue.

Dr. Fynn from the Diaspora Affairs Directorate stated in a press release, “We write to revoke immediately the permission granted…which approved your request to use the Black Star Square for the above event. This decision has been necessitated by an unforeseen State Event scheduled to take place at the venue.

Following the cancellation, the organizers said the government directed them to call off the event. They further described the directive to cancel it as shocking after claiming that the government had given them permission in November 2023.

“We regret to inform you that the Government has abruptly canceled the Pan African Event scheduled for today at Independence Square in Accra, Ghana.

Despite approval in November 2023, the event, attended by esteemed guests worldwide, was canceled a few hours before its commencement, causing shock and devastation to attendees.

“We, at the New Africa Foundation, extend our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused to our audience and the public. It’s important to note that this situation was beyond our control. The lineup of speakers included Professor P. L. O. Lumumba, Julius Malema, Dr. Arikana Chihombori-Quao, and Peter Obi.
