If you don’t have money, don’t approach me for promotions: DJ Slim Cautions

1 Min Read

Controversial DJ Slim, a radio personality and disc jockey from Ghana, has issued a warning to underground musicians who would like to work with him on promotional deals for their music.

The well-known on-air personality said that any singer who wants to contact him with their music marketing deals must be willing to negotiate with him on business grounds during a segment of his show on Radio One 105.7FM.

He warned that since he is not prepared to work for any musician for free, no musician should approach him for promotions if money is not included in the contract.

The majority of Ghanaian underground musicians, he continued, enjoy requesting his help in publicizing their songs for free, which frustrates him. As a result, no musician should approach him with such a deal, he said.
