Just after nine months of enjoying true love with her TikTok-married husband, Mr. Ibu’s daughter, Jasmine calls in an end as he discloses she can no longer continue with the marriage.
Jasmine made this announcement known to the public via her social media handles in the early hours of Monday, November 14th, 2022.
Her posts worried many of her fans and shocked others, causing mixed reactions among social media users on the internet as they shared their differing perspectives on the issue.
According to the daughter of a popular veteran Nollywood legend, she couldn’t take it any longer because her marriage to her husband was built on lies.
Adding that the last nine months of their relationship had been the best of her life, she thought it was all love until it ended up being based on lies, all because her husband failed to speak to her about his previous divorce and that he had children.
She wrote;
“This was the best nine months of my life! I have no regrets whatsoever! I just won’t settle for asking you about this severally before we start! Finding out today from your mum really broke me! A foundation built upon a tiny lie won’t stand! I love how you loved me! But hate how you never mentioned your divorce or kids to me! Moving on, I don’t think I want anybody else! Just gonna love you from a distance.”

This is very unfortunate, as it comes just one week after Jasmine described her love story with her TikTok lover in a video shared on social media.
Jasmine also revealed in a seperate message that she has already filed for divorce from him after finding out that he has 3 grown-up girls! 3.
“My marriage was so beautiful and full of love, my husband literally worshipped me! I don’t know if anyone is ever going to love me as he did! But this one lie! I can’t forgive! I have filed a divorce today! I found out today that he has 3 grown-up girls! 3?
“Never told me he was married and divorced! Yes, he’s divorced, but still doesn’t change anything! I married a single loving husband! I won’t settle for less! I love him so much! I appreciate all the love you showed me! You showed me a different version of love! I appreciate but I can’t settle for a tiny lie! I can’t forget! I won’t forgive! I don’t owe anyone an explanation!! Don’t ever lie about your age for any reason! I love you MD.”
The man reportedly flew from the US to Gambia to see her two months after talking on TikTok and proposed four days after their physical meeting.
