American rapper, and songwriter, Shawn Corey Carter, better known by the masses with his stage name as Jay Z leaves many fans shocked after deleting his newly created Instagram to mark his return in less than 2 days.

The Rocnation boss, Jay, made his comeback to the popular image and video sharing app on Tuesday, November 2, to promote his latest Netflix released movie titled as The Harder They Fall. Jay is on board as a co-producer of the western film and posted the movie’s poster to his Instagram on Tuesday (November 2).

The multiple award-winning rapper has however left many worried and shocked after he decided to delete the newly created account that garnered over 2.1 million followers in less than 24 hours after creating it to mark his comeback.

This clearly means that Mr. Carter’s comeback to the grams was not for fun but rather for promotional purposes.

A visit to the profile with the link will now give you an error telling you that the page you are looking for is not available.

It is not yet made clear as to what really happened to the account, whether he decided himself to deactivate it or Instagram had to take it down for going against their terms, but he only had one post which is also in compliance to IG’s terms.

The Harder They Fall is a 2021 American Western film directed by Jeymes Samuel, who co-wrote the screenplay with Boaz Yakin. The film stars Jonathan Majors, Idris Elba, Zazie Beetz, Regina King, Delroy Lindo, Lakeith Stanfield, RJ Cyler, Danielle Deadwyler, Edi Gathegi, and Deon Cole.

It is one of very few Westerns whose principal cast members are all African-American. Although a fictional film, its characters are based on real cowboys, lawmen and outlaws of the 19th-century American West.

The film was announced in July 2019, when Jonathan Majors was cast to star in the film. Musician Jeymes Samuel co-wrote the film and will make his directorial debut for it. Idris Elba join in November, and Jay-Z, who is part of the producers was also announced to be writing original music for the film.
