NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Country music star Jelly Roll and podcast host Bunnie Xo have officially finalized their divorce. The legal settlement comes two months after the couple announced their separation, ending a 10-year marriage.
The divorce was initially filed by Jelly Roll on May 18, following their official separation on May 9. According to sources, the exes have resolved all legal matters to close this chapter of their relationship.
While the exact terms of the legal settlement remain confidential, Bunnie Xo shared details about their asset division on a June 18 episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast. The 46-year-old host revealed that Jelly Roll, 41, is giving her their family compound “because he knows how special it is to me.
”Bunnie Xo, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, also indicated that Jelly Roll, born Jason DeFord, is providing financial support following the split.
“I joke around with him. I’m like, ‘Well, you didn’t take care of me in the marriage, but you’re taking care of me in the divorce,'” Bunnie Xo said during the broadcast. “We stan a f–king king.”
The Grammys-nominated “Need a Favor” singer and his former partner confirmed that infidelity played no role in their breakup. The independent creators plan to continue raising Jelly Roll’s two children from previous relationships, 18-year-old Bailee Ann and 9-year-old Noah.
Furthermore, the former couple intends to move forward with having a child together via an IVF surrogate.
“We’re still having a baby together,” Bunnie Xo stated during her podcast. “We have been the most unconventional couple that you guys have ever encountered.”
The pair maintained that they still share a deep bond despite the end of their legal marriage.
“We’re going to co-parent together. J is my best friend. This isn’t what you guys think this is. Nobody cheated on the other person. It’s literally just we served our purpose for each other,” Bunnie Xo said.
