Joe Rogan, America’s leading podcast host, has defended his choice to decline an interview with Vice President Kamala Harris, revealing that she attempted to impose preconditions that he found unacceptable.
During a recent episode of his hit podcast, “The Joe Rogan Experience,” Rogan explained that he offered Harris an open invitation to join him in his Texas studio, but was met with limitations that made the meeting unfeasible.
“She had an opportunity to come,” Rogan said, addressing the situation directly. “I literally gave them an open invitation.”

He emphasized his willingness to accommodate her schedule, stating, “I said if she’s done at 10, we’ll come back here at 10. I’ll do it at 9 in the morning, I’ll do it at 10 p.m. I’ll do it at midnight if she wants.”
Rogan’s decision comes on the heels of a blockbuster episode featuring former President Donald Trump, which has become a sensation with over 41 million views on YouTube in just a few days.

This massive viewership has sparked discussions about the power of podcasting in contemporary political discourse, with Rogan’s Trump interview surpassing even the ratings of the World Series opener.
Despite Harris’s efforts to connect after learning of Trump’s appearance, Rogan expressed frustration at the negotiation process.
He described the desire from Harris’s camp for a more controlled environment, saying, “If I go somewhere, there’s going to be other people in the room. They want to control a lot of things.”
His main goal, he insisted, is to have an open and genuine conversation, stating, “I just want to talk to you. Who the f–k are you?”
While Harris has also ventured into the podcasting realm, her recent episode on Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” garnered a significantly lower view count, demonstrating the competitive landscape of political media engagement.
