This is an updated report regarding Nollywood star, Junior Pope Odonwodo popularly known as Jnr Pope, as new information confirms that the actor was revived ajd is still alive.
It was reported earlier that the 39-year-old Nigerian Actor Junior Pope has died.
The report was confirmed by the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) president Emeka Rollas, stating that Junior Pope died in a boat accident on Wednesday, April 10, in Asaba, Delta State, south-south Nigeria.
Junior Pope Is Alive
Well, according to new information received, the earlier report regarding the actor’s death has been overturned as development confirms that the actor is alive.
Per the new update, the actor is currently in the hospital receiving treatment.
According to some videos shared on popular social media platform, X, the actor’s body for deposit was rejected after the attendant at the Morgue noticed he still had life , they took him to a native doctor.
According to other witnesses, the native doctor after doing his part asked that they rush him to the hospital for oxygen.
The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) president, Emeka Rollas, later also released another press statement confirming that the actor is alive and receiving treatment at the hospital.
On his Instagram page, Rollas said the actor is alive and was receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.
He wrote, “What God cannot do does not exist.
Junior Pope is alive.
“He is taking treatment in the hospital.”
Three other actors who also got drowned in the river according to reports passed away, as at the time of this publication, their names are yet to be made known to the public.
