Ghanaian highlife and afrobeats singer-songwriter-producer, KiDi makes Ghana proud as he happens to grab nominations in the 53rd edition of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NACCP) Image Awards.
The NAACP Image Award is an annual awards ceremony presented by the U.S.-based National Association for the Advancement of Colored People to honor outstanding performances in film, television, theatre, music, and literature. The awards ceremony was first held 54 years ago, on August 13, 1967.
The multiple award-winning singer got nominated in the Oustanding International Song category made up of 5 talented musical artistes.
The Lynx Entertainment signed singer, KiDi born with his legal name as Dennis Nana Dwamena will compete in the Oustanding International Song category with the likes of Grammy Award-Winning Nigerian singer, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Omah Lay, and Fireboy.
KiDi made it to the list with his song Touch it. against Essence by Wizkid featuring Tems. and Justin Bieber. Fireboy also made it with his hit song, Peru. Somebody’s Son song got Tiwa Savage into the category, the song features Brandy. Omah Lay also made it with his song ‘Understand‘.
