Reality show star, Kim Kardashian and her comedian lover Pete Davidson have decided to go separate ways as reports states that they have broken up.
According to reports, the former lovers after their split have decided to stay as just friends.
Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson: This comes as a surprise to many as the two just called it a quit after nine months of dating.
The break up according to E! who first reported on the issue happened sometime this week and it happened considering to distance as a factor.
“a lot of love and respect for each other,” they found that the long distance dynamic and their demanding schedules “made it really difficult to maintain a relationship.” and insider told Eonline.
The American comedian and actor Peter Michael Davidson, 28, have always been busy with his work, and is currently spending part of the summer in Australia working on the movie Wizards!.
While in Los Angeles, the 41-year-old mother of four, Kim has been managing her companies and co-parenting with ex-husband Kanye West.
The two Pete and Kim officially started dating back in October 2021, they had wanted to take it slow to see how it goes but their romance, however, got heated up few weeks after and boom, that was how it all started.
Soon later, the two were spotted holding hands on a roller coaster before heading out on dates in New York City.
Kim Kardashian said in an episode of her Hulu series that she met Davidson while hosting “Saturday Night Live” and struck up a friendship with him.
“I did ‘SNL,’ and then when we kissed in the scene, it was just a vibe,” Kardashian said on the show noting that Davidson did not attend the after-show party. Later, she said, she decided to pursue him.
“I called the producer at ‘SNL’ and was like, ‘Hey, do you have Pete’s number?,” she recounted. “And they were like, ‘Yeah.’ I text him. I wasn’t even thinking like, ‘Oh my God, I’m gonna be in a relationship with him.'”
More recently, a source explained to E! News how the couple was trying to make long distance work while Pete was filming in Australia. “When they are apart, they are in constant communication,” the insider said. “Kim loves that he’s always making her laugh and he truly makes her day when they talk.”
