Award-winning Ghanaian singer and rapper, King Paluta finally clears the air by setting records straight following issues arising after he was seen with Ghana’s Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and also on his stance on political neutrality, and the broader implications for his career and reputation.

Setting the record straight on his involvement with Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s political campaign, King Paluta revealed that his appearance was coincidental and not politically motivated.

King Paluta explained that he accepted an invitation to meet the Vice President out of respect for Bawumia’s significant role in Ghana.

He posed a rhetorical question to highlight his stance: “Regardless of his party affiliation, Bawumia is a significant figure and an elder in our country. Should I have ignored his invitation?”

There were allegations that King Paluta received substantial payment for his presence at the campaign event. He clarified that any compensation he received was merely to cover expenses such as fuel and other logistical costs associated with the event. He emphasized that his brand and services are not provided for free, given his role as an entertainer.

“My brand and services are not provided for free, given my role as an entertainer,” he stated.

King Paluta urged Ghanaians not to link him with any political party based on his appearance at the campaign event.

However, he advised his fans not to be surprised if they see him at events for other political parties in the future, underscoring his commitment to remaining neutral.

King Paluta’s statement suggests that he might continue to make appearances at political events, regardless of the party. This approach highlights his commitment to respecting influential figures while maintaining his professional integrity.
