Kissing Anglican Priest Begs For Forgiveness In New Statement

The Reverend Father who was caught in a video kissing students of the St. Monica’s College of Education apologizes for the act.

Social media went buzzing following a viral video that popped up where an Anglican Priest identified as Rev. Father Balthazar Obeng Larbi, was sighted in the controversial visuals kissing three female students of the St. Monica’s College of Education on Monday.

The act by the Priest did not go down well with Ghanaians as many took to social media and reacted to the incident bashed the Rev Minister for stooping so low.

It led to his dismissal as he was sacked by the authorities.

Townflex.com has however sighted a press statement released by the Anglican Priest begging for forgiveness.

In the press statement, he admitted that his actions were wrong and said he should have acted differently “even in the absence of COVID-19”.

“I pray for forgiveness from all and sundry and plead that you hold me in your prayers during this trying times. May God bless us all,” part of the statement read.

It added that it seemed he have taken a number of things for granted and did not think his actions/behaviour through.

Rev. Fr Baltharzzar Obeng Larbi in his statement of apology also asked that the public keeps him in their prayers during this trying times.
