Ghanaian-American ‘Kofi Kingston’ Becomes New WWE Champion At WrestleMania

Kofi Kingston won the WWE Championship for the first time on Sunday after beating Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 35.

Kofi Nahaje Sarkodie-Mensah well-known as Kofi Kingston is a Ghanaian-American professional wrestler currently signed to WWE, and he now crowned first African to become a WWE championship.

Kofi won the title few days ago after defeating the defending champion Daniel Bryan. And he really deserved the win he got, by working hard to get to where he is now, Africa is very proud of its hero. Watch Video Below.

The journey so far to the top hasn’t been an easy one for the Ghanaian-American wrestler who has been in the wrestling arena for over a decade – 11 years.

Official reports from WWE has however described the match between the two wrestlers as one of the most emotional fights ever recorded in the history of WrestleMania.

“With the capacity crowd of 82,265 fans, as well as the SmackDown locker room cheering him on, Kingston managed to persevere through every cruel and unusual maneuver the sadistic Bryan managed to apply,”
