Fans of WWE star, Randy Orton won’t have to wait for much longer as there’s some exciting news about the return of former world champion, and it’s all happening just before Survivor Series 2023.
Randy Orton has been away from the ring for more than a year due to a back injury. But lately, there have been rumors about his possible comeback to WWE, especially after people saw him at the Performance Center in September.
Before this, there were reports that both Randy Orton and WWE were planning for his return to take place at Survivor Series 2023 in Chicago.
Now, according to WrestleVotes, they’ve given the green light for new Randy Orton merchandise and branding. This is a pretty clear sign that Randy Orton’s comeback is on the horizon.
Maing the announcement via X (fomerly known as Twitter), WrestleVotes tweeted saying; “Regarding the Randy Orton return rumors, source states new merchandise & branding has been approved.
“Also, WWE will present a large social media promotion / digital material for the comeback. It’s indeed happening. Likely Survivor Series or that weekend.”
Randy Orton’s last match was on May 20, 2022, where he teamed up with Matt Riddle, who has since left WWE. Unfortunately, they lost to The Usos in a match that aimed to unify the Raw and SmackDown tag-team titles.
The upcoming Survivor Series 2023 will happen at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois on November 25. Something interesting to note is that WWE has made some changes to its usual way of doing things for this event. If you want to know more about these changes, check out our exclusive coverage.
