Lionel Messi, the striker for Paris Saint-Germain, has stated that he is open to returning to Barcelona as a technical secretary after retiring from football.

Only a few months after parting ways with the Catalans, the Argentine great voiced his desire to be a part of the club’s senior administration and reiterated his love for the Blaugrana.

“Yes, I always said I wanted to come back and serve the team in whatever way I could,” Messi stated.

“At some point, I’d like to work as a technical secretary.” I’m not sure if it will take place in Barcelona or not. Or if things will turn out differently.

“If it is possible, I would like to contribute again in whatever way I can because it is the club that I love and I want it to continue to be good, to flourish, and to remain one of the best in the world.”
