Lori Vallow Clashes with Woman Who Dated Her Husband in Explosive Cross-Examination

Lori Vallow Daybell, the so-called “doomsday mom,” had a heated exchange with a woman who briefly dated her fourth husband, Charles Vallow, the night before his death.

Representing herself in court, Vallow Daybell cross-examined Nancy Jo Hancock, 61, who testified about her short-lived relationship with Charles in 2019.

The tension escalated as Vallow Daybell grilled Hancock about her dinner date with Charles Vallow just one day before his murder. Vallow Daybell repeatedly asked Hancock whether she had verified Charles’s claims that he was divorcing her, to which Hancock responded, “No.”

The courtroom was filled with awkward moments as Vallow Daybell, undeterred by objections from the prosecution, pushed Hancock to answer personal and provocative questions.

At one point, Vallow Daybell asked, “Do you go on dates with married men?” Hancock, unfazed, replied, “I just met for dinner. I wasn’t sleeping with him or anything.” The judge intervened multiple times, calling for breaks and admonishing Vallow Daybell for irrelevant and argumentative questions.

Hancock testified that she and Charles had communicated extensively before their dinner and that he had shared concerns about his safety.

She also recalled that Charles had been excited to see his son, JJ Vallow, the morning of his death. Hancock only learned of his murder months later while watching the news.

Vallow Daybell’s repeated snide remarks, including questioning Hancock about her date’s conversation topics, added fuel to the already tense courtroom atmosphere.

Despite the objections from the prosecution, Vallow Daybell continued to probe, clearly intent on casting doubt on Hancock’s relationship with her late husband.

The trial continues to captivate the nation, as Vallow Daybell faces charges related to the deaths of her children and her romantic rival.
