Carlo Ancelotti, the head coach of Real Madrid, has expressed his love for the club and allayed concerns about his future after being linked to the vacant position of head coach for the Brazilian national team.

The Italian coach has been backed by several Brazilian players, and the Brazilian Football Confederation has confirmed their interest in him.

However, Ancelotti’s focus remains on Madrid, as he led the team to a 6-0 victory over Real Valladolid on Sunday.

Speaking after the game, the coach emphasized the importance of the win and praised the team’s performance, particularly that of Karim Benzema, who scored a first-half hat-trick.

Ancelotti’s comments come after he declared his desire to stay with Madrid, but also admitted that “the future is unknown.”

The uncertainty around his future had caused concern among some fans and former players, including Madrid legend Guti.

However, Ancelotti appeared relaxed when speaking to Guti on DAZN after Sunday’s game. “Do I look worried about my future, Guti? I love Madrid as much as you do,” he said.

The victory over Valladolid was also notable for the return of Eden Hazard, who made his first league appearance since September.

Although he was jeered by some fans, Hazard looked sharp and provided an assist for Lucas Vazquez’s stoppage-time goal.

Ancelotti was pleased with Hazard’s performance and suggested he could be a useful option for the team during the run-in, assuming he stays fit.

“He has played very little, but he has done well and has given an assist. He’s training well, he can have opportunities,” the coach said.

Madrid may be 12 points adrift of LaLiga leaders Barcelona, but the win over Valladolid was a reminder of the team’s potential when they are in form.

Ancelotti will hope to build on this performance in the coming weeks as the team continues its pursuit of success both domestically and in Europe.
