Fred who scored the 3rd was as industrious as ever during his cameo and finished a brilliant Casemiro’s late pass.

It was Man Utd’s first league game since Ronaldo dramatically left the team after a contentious interview with Piers Morgan.

The United supporters voiced their opinions when intriguing 18-year-old prodigy Alejandro Garnacho was substituted for Antony with 25 minutes left.

They sang “Viva Garnacho” instead of the infamous “Viva Ronaldo” chant as he continues to perform admirably while wearing a Red Devils shirt.

And he only scored one goal for Portugal at the World Cup before being benched for the knockout rounds.

He has been working out with his old team Real Madrid ever since he left Qatar.

However, a return to the Bernabeu appears improbable because Carlo Ancelotti appears eager to add younger players to the group.
