On December 29, 2022, Meek Mill, the victim, reported his phone as missing in Accra.

Shortly after sharing another tweet claiming to be embracing his time in Ghana to the fullest since he arrived, Meek earlier revealed on social media that his phone had been pickpocketed.

To that effect, Shatta Wale pleaded with “the street” on his official Twitter page after becoming aware of this tragic occurrence.

He claimed that people like Mill, who are sincere hustlers and set a good example for everyone on the street, shouldn’t be subjected to such bizarre behavior.

In light of this, Shatta Wale tweeted:

“Streetz if you know you have meek mills phone pls return am …that’s if it’s true. You can’t do that to a real hustler .. by Moro morning Return am. Meek inspires all of us on the street a lot #1DON“.

When the phone was eventually located, Shatta Wale made a new announcement, although he didn’t provide much specifics about the perpetrators, as can be seen in the screenshot below.
