Marcus Rashford believes that those who are doubting his dedication to Manchester United ought to demonstrate “more humanity.”

The 26-year-old Rashford has scored five goals for United this year and has come under fire for alleged behavioral problems.

Days after being claimed to have been spotted in Northern Ireland nightclubs, he was absent from United’s FA Cup victory over Newport.

“I have to speak up if you ever question my commitment to United,” the England forward stated in a column published in The Players’ Tribune.

It feels as though my entire identity and all I stand for as a man are being questioned.

This is where I grew up. I have been a member of this club since my childhood. When I was a child, my family gave down money that could have changed my life so I could wear this badge.

Born in Manchester, Rashford progressed through the United development system before making his first-team debut in 2016 at the age of 18.

He has since made 391 Red Devils appearances and scored 128 goals.

With a career-high 30 goals at the end of the previous season, Rashford has not been able to replicate that success this year as United has failed to improve on their first campaign under manager Erik ten Hag.
