Renowned Nigerian afrobeats sensation, David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has emphatically expressed that tying the knot with his beloved spouse, Chioma, stands as the pinnacle of his life’s decisions.

Not too long ago, Davido made a public announcement regarding his matrimonial union with his long-term companion, Chioma Rowland. This joyous occasion occurred amidst the heart-wrenching tragedy of losing their beloved son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, who tragically met his demise in a swimming pool at the illustrious Banana Island mansion owned by the singer, back in the bygone month of October.

During a recent captivating interview with Beat 105.3 FM in Atlanta, Davido divulged that fate had intertwined their paths during his formative years at Babcock University.

Speaking with an air of utmost admiration, he boldly proclaimed that he and Chioma are indeed an impeccable match, and their journey together spans an impressive near two decades of intertwined destinies.

Davido said: “Me and my wife [Chioma] grew up together and went to school together. We met in school. We are just so used to each other. She is like a part of me. You definitely have to get somebody that understands you. Me and my wife, we are just perfect; there is nothing that she does crazy. It’s just a good match.

“First year in college, I met her. She is the best decision I have ever made. I have known her like almost 20 years. And she can cook.”
