Mohamed Salah beats Sadio Mane to become highest paid African Player of 2022

Egyptian professional footballer Mo Salah born with his legal name Mohamed Salah Hamed Mahrous Ghaly becomes the highest-paid African player at the moment following the renewal of his contract with Liverpool FC.

Salah who formerly earns around 200+ and was on the second number on the list behind former teammate, Sadio Mane who took over in June as the highest-paid African player now tops the chart after the extension of his playing deal with Liverpool FC.

It would be recalled that some weeks past, Salah was in the news, as they were rumours speculating that the club risks losing him should they fail to meet the demands of Salah who have been requesting an increase in his salary.

Well, he has been granted with his request and now at peace with the club, and that’s how come he signed a  new deal with them.

Liverpool FC announced through their official website and social media outlets on July 1 that they have the Egyptian star has signed a new long-term contract with the club.

Mohammed Salah’s new renewal and extension of his contract will be active from now until 2025 when it will expire.

Well, according to some reports, he will be taking 400,000 sterling pounds per week which will be the largest in the history of Liverpool FC, while other reports also stated that he will be earning 350,000 sterling pounds per week.

Mo salah’s new earnings now puts him in a global ranking in terms of weekly salary taken by world best players, he now joins the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi, Neymar and also he now surpases Christaino Ronaldo.
