Media personality and actress Nancy Isime has been chastised for insulting the dollar.

This is after the Nigerian star was sighted painting her nails with torn pieces of the dollar notes.

According to the actress, she wanted to try something new.

On Instagram, Nancy Isime posted an InstaStory video of herself in the salon getting her nails done.

And in the spirit of trying something different from what practically everyone else is doing, she asked for a portion of a dollar to be placed on her nails.

Although it looked great once she fixed it yet she’s been accused of disrespecting the dollar because Americans don’t toy with their money like that, and the fact that she may be arrested for it adds to the fear.

Moreover, some believe the currency she used was counterfeit, but it doesn’t change the fact that she might be imprisoned for disrespecting the American dollar.

Meanwhile, those who have been doing their nails are claiming nothing is wrong with what Nancy Isime did.

The reason they gave was that they believe that the dollar she used was a fake one and it’s commonly used to mend nails.
