Nick Cannon welcomes his 9th child – Nick Cannon, an American TV personality, actor, comedian, and musician, assumes the lead role with ease and delight as he announces the arrival of his ninth child.
On Wednesday, September 15, 2022, the former America’s Got Talent host made the announcement via his official and verified Instagram feed.
The newly born child who happens to be a baby girl is named Onyx Ice Cole Cannon who he shares as his first child with model LaNisha Cole.

The comedian and Mariah Carey welcomed now-11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan in 2011. He and model Brittany Bell welcomed a boy, Golden Sagon, in 2017 and a daughter, Powerful Queen, who is now 19 months old.
Cannon also has a son with Alyssa Scott, Zen, who died at 5 months from brain cancer in December 2021, and twin boys Zion and Zillion, 15 months, with Abby De La Rosa. De La Rosa is expecting her third child this fall, but she has not disclosed the identity of the father.
He also welcomed his 8th child, a son ‘Legendary Love‘ with his partner Bre Tiesi, which was the first child for Bre.
The arrival of Onyx Ice comes few weeks after we published his Instagram post revealing to the world and his admirers that he is again expecting a kid with model Brittany Bell sharing moments on video showing the baby bump of his beloved which will be his 10th child.
Nick Cannon welcomes his 9th child – In making the announcement, Cannon wrote;
“Introducing ONYX ICE COLE CANNON… Once again Today I am in Awe of the Devine Feminine! God has given me and @MissLanishaCole the privilege of hosting an Angel here on earth.
“I vow to protect, provide, guide and love this child to the best of my abilities. In this moment of celebration and jubilee, I wish to mute any low vibrational frequencies and only rejoice with the Highest Class of Civilization who are truly aligned with our purpose here in this dimension.
“We all learn so much from these Angels we call children. I am learning that it is not the limited amount of time we have on this planet but it’s the limited amount of love that is the issue. And I promise to love this little girl with all my heart, regardless what anyone says…
“I’ve given up on attempting to define myself for the world or society but instead I’m doing the work to heal and grow into the infinite Being God ordained me to be.
“Hopefully I can teach Onyx the same, to not let others shame or ridicule her with their outside opinions, because when they do they are only projecting their own harsh experiences, pain and social programming onto her unblemished beauty.
“As we all know I am not easily triggered and have quite tough skin and have always been an open book but not everyone in my family has that same level of strength. So I pray and ask others to please project all criticism and cynicism towards ME and not the loving and precious Mothers of my children.
