Nigerian Billionaire rents N2.2billion yacht for 60th birthday (See Details)

In preparation for his 60th birthday, Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola reportedly paid 3 million pounds (about N2.2 billion) to rent the “Christina O”, a super-luxury yacht owned by Aristotle Onassis.

According to news reaching Townflex, the shrewd businessman’s 60th birthday is on Friday, November 4, so he hired the big boat to throw a lavish party.

The late Greek shipping billionaire Aristotle Onassis, who was once regarded as the richest man in the world and was one of Femi Otedola’s childhood heroes, is the owner of the giant yacht.

Interestingly, for three weeks, the boat will be cruising the Mediterranean. In a viral video that has taken over social media, the Billionaire together with Mr. Eazi and his family was seen boarding the yacht.

Businessman, philanthropist, and former chairman of petroleum importer Forte Oil PLC, Femi Otedola hails from Nigeria.

In addition to owning several other companies in the fields of finance, real estate, and shipping, Otedola founded Zenon Petroleum and Gas Ltd. As part of Nigeria’s recent industry liberalization, he just made an investment in electricity production.
