The Tanzanian music community is in mourning following the sudden passing of the renowned music video director and musician Nisher.
Reports making round on the internet sphere and received by our Entertainment desk reveal that Director Nisher has tragically passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.
The untimely demise of the young and talented star has been confirmed by his family, who stated that further details about the circumstances surrounding his death will be disclosed later.
Nisher, the firstborn son of the well-known Arusha preacher Dr. GeorDavie, has left a void in the hearts of many.

Nisher dead: “Familia ya Dr. GeorDavie imethibitisha kutokea kwa msiba huo wa Kijana wao Nisher na kusema msiba unafanyika katika nyumba ya matamko Kisongo Jijini Arusha na kwamba taarifa zaidi zitatolewa baadaye,” Millard Ayo said.
Numerous celebrities from the Bongo Flaa industry have taken to social media to express their sincere condolences to Nisher’s family and friends during this difficult time.
It is worth noting that Nisher’s passing comes just months after the loss of another prominent Bongo Flava artist named Haitham Kim. The Tanzanian music scene has thus suffered back-to-back losses, and the industry mourns the departure of these talented individuals.
