Nigerian music legend, Onyeka Onwenu is to be buried today (Friday, August 30).
The Legendary Nigerian singer, songwriter, actress, human rights, and social activist, passed away on July 30th, 2023 at Reddington Hospital, Ikeja.
She died after collapsing at the birthday bash of Stella Okoli, the Managing Director of Emzor Pharmaceutical’s birthday bash, shortly after her performance.
Funeral Details: The Family of the late singer announced that their beloved’s funeral service will be taking place on Friday, August 2024.
The announcement flyer also revealed that there will be a service of songs which is scheduled for 10-12 p.m, at the Fountain of Life Church, Ilupeju, while the burial service starts from 2-4 p.m, at Ebony Vaults, Ikoyi, Lagos.
The late singer, 72, is survived by her sons.
