WWE star, John Cena says he never want to have kids.
The Wrestler and actor on August 21, during the Club Shay Shay podcast, confirmed once again, and explained his actual decision for not wanting to have children, just imagine how the conversation will go with his wife.
According to John, he doesn’t want to have them [kids] because it he feel its not an easy thing to do, balancing personal life and career, and parentedhood is gonna be something hard for him.
“I don’t want them,” John said. “I have a certain curiosity about life, and I also know the investment that it takes.”
In the interview with Shannon Sharpe, Cena explained that ; “I don’t want kids, I’m 47 now and I don’t have them. Everyone asks if I want them and I have to tell you that it’s not the easiest out there because a lot of why we’re here is to reproduce.”

“And my biggest fear is, as someone who’s driven — many times stubborn and selfish — I try to approach the world with kindness and curiosity, but I don’t think I’m personally ready, nor will I ever be, to invest the time it needs to be a great parent because I want to live life for all it is.” He said.
Cena who is married to his beautiful wife, Shay Shariatzadeh since 2020 said he still has a lot to do and that he want to do a lot, “I have a wonderful partner I do it with. We’ve had open conversations about this. We share the same values.” he added.
The pro wrestler has had this thought in mind for ages now, per his talk, he already thought about it since he was a teenager and its not something he’s just coming up with adding that his “opinions only hit that gray area during emotionally difficult times.”

When asked how it went with his wife based on the decision not to have kids John Cena who stated that he and his wife agreed on the terms not to have kids had this to say;
said that he “learned from every scenario” and “learned from his past.” he continued by saying “Whenever one of us is feeling bothered, nothing’s off the table. Of course, nobody’s perfect. We have our disagreements, but we handle them right then and there, and nothing is too uncomfortable to be unapproachable.”
“Starting off with a conversation about ‘hey, where do you see family life and what is the definition of our family, what brings you joy, and is this a bucket you need to fill?’ — those conversations have helped me personally, and her forge a path together as a team.” the WWE star added.
