Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, Member of Parliament for Suame Constituency and Majority Leader in Parliament, has finally clarified what happened at his birthday party and who provided him with the E-levy cake.
Hon. Osei Mensah disclosed on Okay FM with Kwame Nkrumah Tikese that his wife gave him a cake that, it wasn’t designed in an “E-levy” manner.
He recalled that after he had finished cutting his birthday cake, which his wife had given him, a friend had also given him a birthday cake in the shape of E-levy.

According to him, he (Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu) always talks about E-levy, which is why his supposed friend prepared the cake in such shape.
When pressed to expose the individual’s identity, Hon Osei Kyei Mensah revealed that the person who sent the cake is a well-known businessman who does not want to reveal his identity since it would jeopardize his career.
