According to information gathered by the officers were on duty and had gone to check on the residence permit of the Nigerians.

You could see from the video that the immigration personel struggled very hard to move their vehicle away from the scene but it was heavily blocked with objects (road using wood, pieces of blocks).

Some of these Nigerian attackers were heard shouting “wetin, nobody dey move. Here na border?”.

Looking at what transpired in the piece of video our Nigerian cousins took it too far and as we all know it’s always a bad idea to attack an officer of the law, this incident must be investigated.

Superintendent Michael Amoako-Atta who happens to be the Spokesperson of the Ghana Immigration Service said “they (the officers) were going on normal operation to check on foreign nationals who don’t have legal stay and they met these Nigerians who were trying to resist.” – he revealed to Graphic Online.

Kennedy Agyapong To Name NDC MPs Who Sold Properties To Invest In Menzgold

The NPP’s Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has threatened to pen down names of National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP’s who got involved in Menzgold Dealership.

Hon Kennedy Agyapong added that most of these MP’s that they had to sell their personal properties move to a rent and use the money collected to invest in Menzgold

According to the politician he will not mention names now but will be forced to do so if the NDC’s in parliament continues to blame the president Nana Akufo-Addo for the bad turnout results of the Gold Dealership firm.

“If they start to blame NPP and Akufo-Addo I will expose them. Even in parliament. Some greedy MP’s sold their properties, went and rented and invested in Menzgold…they got nerves to talk about Akufo-Addo? When you sold your house and you went and invested it was Akufo-Addo part of the deal? That greedy boy is now blaming Akufo-Addo…I am tempted to mention his name. I know some paid GHC4, million”, few words he stated.
