Paris St-Germain players were received by fans with boos as after being knockout from the UEFA Europa Champions League last week. The most targeted players appeared to be Summer signing, Lionel Messi from Barcelona and Neymar is the club’s highest paid.

P.S.G were knockout from the Champions League by 13-times winners, Real Madrid on an aggregate of 3-2. Having defeated Madrid at “Parc Des Princes”, thanks to a lone Mbappe goal, PSG fell short of fire power at Santiago Bernabeu as Karim Benzema ran the show; scoring a hat trick to cap off a beautiful night.

Paris St-Germain played their first game after that painful night – with Kylian Mbappe opening the scoring at the Parc des Princes.

After the break, Neymar scored before
Leandro Paredes sealed the game with a third. This sends the team 15 points clear at the top and in touch with another League one trophy.

P.S.G fans couldn’t hid their frustration as they booed the players and demanded for
the resignation of President Nasser Al-Khelaifi and sporting director Leonardo

While it is unsure whether Mauricio Pochettino will still be the manager, trusted sources have confirmed that the former Spurs boss will be leaving at the end of the season.

Nevertheless, Pochettino was sad about the incident.

“No-one who loves PSG, its colours, and who feels the frustration of elimination, can experience it in any other way.”

“Sadness. I think that’s the right word. The sadness of experiencing an afternoon like this here at the Parc des Princes.

“Messi and Neymar? We are all affected, we understand the disappointment and frustration, which we also share. But we are responsible. We only have to assume it as a team and we will be united until the end,” the P.S.G manager was quoted.

Adding to that, Kimpembe urged the team to stick together and avoid letting their heads down. He stressed that there is a League one trophy title that awaits.

Kimpembe was quoted saying:

“We understand their disappointment and their hatred but we have to more forward to lift our heads up and win the Ligue 1 title.

“We’re all at fault, we’re a team. It’s time to show that we have character and stick together.”

Luis Suarez reacting to the incident in support of Messi and Neymar said:
“As always, football has no memory.”
