“After a tough game at Wembley we needed to provide the energy, He added.
“We are showing inconsistency because we have an amazing performance at Wembley and show the extremes.”

“When we have bad days we are so bad when we are good we are capable of anything, We can be low and go high in a few days.”

“No. There are too many details and circumstances why this happened, We need to make sure it doesn’t happen again.”

“The club is building a new project and way to operate.”

“It is always a risk to take when you build a new squad that sometimes the circumstances are not helping.

“We cannot blame the players, the circumstances are bigger than the players.”

“You cannot blame young guys that came here to fight a team like this fighting for the Premier League, You cannot be unfair on the players.”

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta shared his thoughts after the game.

“With the result, with the goals, with the clean sheet and then overall with the night that we lived together with our supporters, it was magical from the beginning,” Mikel said.

“We started really good, very determined and created many, many chances.”

“Then we became a bit sloppy and we lost one or two balls in dangerous areas and they can punish you and we should have got punished and in the second half we reacted.”

“We were much more disciplined, the same threat going forward, same aggression without the ball and to score five goals and keep a clean sheet against this team, credit to the boys.”
