In a significant update, Prince Harry’s ‘His Royal Highness (HRH)’ title has been officially removed from the Royal Family’s website, marking the culmination of a decision made three years ago during the Megxit agreement.
This decision, which came in the wake of the Sussexes’ departure from their roles as senior members of the Royal Family in 2020, underscores the ongoing evolution of the family’s dynamics and responsibilities.

The couple’s new status was confirmed in an official statement, clarifying that as they were no longer actively working members of the Royal Family, they would not utilize their HRH titles.
However, it is now that the HRH title’s removal from Prince Harry’s profile on the Royal Family website has garnered attention.
The change isn’t limited to the title alone; his position on the Royal Family landing page has also been adjusted, with his profile now appearing towards the lower end of the list, ranking only above Prince Andrew.
Prominent members like the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and Princess Alexandra now precede Prince Harry on the website. Further modifications have been introduced to reflect the updated titles of King Charles III and Queen Camilla on Clarence House and Kensington Palace’s pages.
Notably, Kate and William’s titles have been revised to the Prince and Princess of Wales, signifying an update from their prior Duke and Duchess of Cambridge titles.
Buckingham Palace provided insight into their ongoing website updates, stating, “The Royal Family website contains over five thousand pages of information about the life and work of the Royal Family.
Following the death of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, content has been revisited and updated periodically. Some content may be out of date until this process is complete.”
While the HRH title’s removal marks a significant shift in Prince Harry’s public profile, it’s essential to note that the couple continues to hold their royal titles as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, a reminder of their enduring connection to the British monarchy.
