Kylian Mbappe started on the bench as Paris St-Germain was held to a 2-2 draw by Reims at the Parc des Princes.

Marshall Munetsi’s simple score in the sixth minute after an Achraf Hakimi error gave Reims a startling lead was matched eleven minutes later by an own goal by Yunis Abdelhamid.

In the 19th minute, Goncalo Ramos scored his sixth goal of the season in Ligue 1, but Will Still’s team responded with a goal from Oumar Diakite just before halftime.

Mbappe was hauled onto by manager Luis Enrique in the 73rd minute, but Reims gave him few opportunities. Mbappe is expected to join Real Madrid in the summer when his PSG contract expires.

In the goalless draw with Monaco last Friday, Enrique insisted that the team “get used to playing without” their star striker, thus the France captain was brought in at halftime.

After their third straight domestic tie, PSG widened their lead over Reims to ten points at the top of Ligue 1.
