Rapper Lil Wayne sued for assault by ex-bodyguard Carlos Christian

Latest Entertainment News (Townflex) – American rapper and singer Lil Wayne is currently facing legal action from his ex-bodyguard, Carlos Christian, who has filed a lawsuit alleging assault and battery related to an alleged gun threat.

According to Carlos, the former employee, he informed the police that Lil Wayne, born with his legal name Dwayne Michael Carter Jr, supposedly wielded a gun and struck him in the ear.

Documents obtained by TMZ detail Carlos’s accusation that the 41-year-old rapper threatened to shoot him with a semiautomatic gun. This threat was taken seriously, given Lil Wayne’s history of serving prison sentences for weapon charges.

The incident in question occurred in December 2021, as described by the former employee. After an altercation in Lil Wayne’s residence in Hidden Hills, California, Carlos called the police, accusing the rapper of using an assault rifle on him.

The verbal dispute escalated into a physical brawl, concluding with the rapper brandishing an AR-15.

Carlos is seeking compensatory and punitive damages for lost wages and medical expenses arising from the incident.

Contrary to these claims, sources close to the AMA winner have vehemently denied the allegations, asserting that Lil Wayne did not even own a weapon at the time in question.
