Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Welcome Third Child, a Baby Girl Named Rocki Irish Mayers

Pop superstar Rihanna and rapper A$AP Rocky have officially become parents for the third time.

The couple announced the arrival of their daughter on Wednesday, September 24, through Rihanna’s Twitter (X), where she shared a photo of herself cradling the newborn dressed in pink.

The caption revealed both the name and birth date of their new addition: “Rocki Irish Mayers, Sept 13 2025 🎀.” Riri shared on the Internet sphere.

Rocki joins her older brothers, RZA Athelston Mayers, 3, and Riot Rose Mayers, 2. The new baby’s name carries a personal tribute to her father, Rakim “A$AP Rocky” Mayers, whose childhood nickname “Rocky” inspired his stage name.

Rihanna has long spoken about wanting to welcome a girl into their family. A$AP Rocky also expressed his hopes during a recent ELLE interview: “I hope it’s a girl. I really do. We’re praying for a girl. … I feel like it’s going to be a girl. This pregnancy is so different from the other two.”

The Grammy-winning singer first revealed her pregnancy in May with a portrait by celebrity photographer Miles Diggs. She later confirmed the news in dramatic fashion at the 2025 Met Gala, where she appeared in a pinstripe gown with a visible baby bump while serving as co-chair alongside A$AP Rocky.

Arriving fashionably late to the carpet, Rihanna joked about the relief of no longer hiding her pregnancy: “I feel a lot better that I don’t have to suck my stomach in anymore.”
