After 25 games, the north London team is three points ahead of champion Manchester City, who face Chelsea in the late kickoff, and two points behind Liverpool, who won 4-1 at Brentford.

Arsenal has scored 21 goals in their previous five games and might have easily added more against the Clarets. previous weekend, they smashed West Ham United 6-0.

Trossard, who has now netted three goals in as many games, squandered a number of more opportunities, one of which came late in the first half.

Ødegaard assisted Saka’s second goal, but the England forward’s dreams of a hat-trick were dashed when he was sent off in the 69th minute with a yellow card, and the game was won.

It was always going to be a difficult afternoon for Burnley manager Vincent Kompany, who had to watch from the stands following his third booking of the season, and things got worse.

Aaron Ramsey of Burnley appeared to have injured his knee in a tackle by Ødegaard, and was taken off the field on a stretcher while receiving oxygen. This caused the game to stop in the sixty-third minute.
