Music Video for Sarkodie's Country Side with Black Sherif is finally out, released on Friday, February 24th.

Multiple award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie finally drops the official music video to his trending ‘Country Side’ song which features Black Sherif.

The Audio for Country Side is taken from Sarkodie’s 10-track Jamz Album which was released on November 11, 2022.

The song is however an inspirational song as the two rappers in there try to encourage the youth out there to keep up with their hustle.

Part of Sarkodie’s lyrics reads; “Time no dey wait for nobody. Wote faako a, na wote w’adeɛ so, dey waste time. Everybody get ein own blessin. Yɛakyekyɛ ama no aso obiara so. So, why dey hate mine? (Whoa). By the time a moaniso bɛte mo. Na maduru amanɔne, ma Timberland na ɛbɔ me bassline (yes). Mepɛ sɛ meyi mo ahi nti mekye me nkosua ahomakye a. I go chew am in the day time”.

Sarkodie Country Side Video: The video for the hit song with Black Sherif was shot and directed by popular Ghanaian music video director, Prince Dovlo.

The video was released officially onto the American Video streaming platform, YouTube on Friday, February 24th.

Who IS Sarkodie?

Sarkodie is a Ghanaian rapper, singer, and songwriter who has gained international recognition for his music. He was born Michael Owusu Addo on July 10, 1985, in Tema, Ghana.

Sarkodie started his music career in 2007, and his breakthrough came in 2009 with the release of his debut album “Makye.” Since then, he has released several hit songs, including “You Go Kill Me,” “Adonai,” “Pain Killer,” “Can’t Let You Go,” and “Anadwo.”

In addition to his music career, Sarkodie is also a successful entrepreneur and philanthropist. He has won several awards for his music, including BET Award for Best International Act Africa in 2012 and 2014. He has also been named one of the 100 most influential people in Africa by New African magazine.

Sarkodie is known for his versatile rap style and his ability to blend different genres of music. He has collaborated with several international artists, including Ice Prince, Ace Hood, Fuse ODG, and Runtown.
