Saved by grace – Wendy Shay’s first tweet after accident

Ghanaian singer, Wendy Shay makes a return to social media as she makes her first official post to mark her recovery since her accident.

You may remember that Wendy Shay, a talented artist signed to Rufftown Records, had a very close call. On the early morning of Sunday, September 10th, 2023, she was in a severe accident on the Kwabenya – ACP Junction road. This accident left her not only unwell and also caused damage to her Jeep Wrangler.

Following the accident, Wendy was rushed to the hospital for medical care. Due to her health condition, she had to take a break from social media for some time. However, we’re delighted to see her back in good health now.

Wendy who was rushed to the hospital following the incident for medical care has been off social media for sometime now due to her health condition, but now returns and we are gratefull she is very well now.

Wendy expressed her heartfelt thanks to God for saving her life. She also extended her gratitude to various industry figures and colleagues in the music business who showed their support and well-wishes during her challenging time.

Her appreciation didn’t stop there. Wendy also thanked her fans, family, and close friends for their prayers and support, which played a significant role in her recovery.

In a poignant twist, Wendy revealed that she had recorded a song titled “Who Are Your Friends” on September 7, 2023, just days before the accident occurred on September 10, 2023.

She found a deeper meaning in the lyrics of her own song, highlighting that some people only show love and support when someone is facing a dire situation. As she eloquently put it, “Some people will only love you when you are dead,” she wrote.
