A Michigan inmate won an amazing $100 million default judgment against music superstar Sean “Diddy” Combs in a sexual assault lawsuit. The court order was issued after Combs failed to appear or file any response to the case.
On Monday, a Lenawee County Circuit Court Judge delivered the default ruling in response to a temporary restraining order against Combs granted to Derrick Lee Cardello-Smith, 51, who is presently incarcerated in Michigan.
Cardello-Smith has a history of civil lawsuits against the justice system, according to the Detroit Metro Times and court documents.
According to the lawsuit, Combs drugged and sexually abused Cardello-Smith at a Detroit party in 1997. The court established a payment schedule of $10 million per month beginning October 1 to settle the judgment.
According to the lawsuit, Cardello-Smith met Combs while working at a restaurant in the Detroit area. Cardello-Smith claimed that he and Combs went to a party with a bunch of women. During the interaction, Cardello-Smith believes he felt a masculine hand touch him, claiming it belonged to Combs.

Cardello-Smith also claims that Combs gave him a spiked drink, which caused him to lose consciousness. He claims he awoke to discover Combs engaging in sexual intercourse with a lady, and that Combs told him, “I did this to you too.”
Cardello-Smith, who is presently serving a separate term, claims that in August, Combs offered him $2.3 million to withdraw the lawsuit but he declined, adding that he intends to take legal action. Combs reportedly answered, “You know how we get down,” to which Cardello-Smith responded, “I disagree with how you get down.”
Sean “Diddy” Combs has faced numerous claims of sexual misconduct in recent years. While he has denied most of the allegations, he did admit to punching his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, in June after a 2016 hotel video was leaked. He issued a public apology for his behavior, describing himself as “fucked up.”
