Powerful Ghanaian musician, Sefa plans on going back to her roots, back to her hometown, Volta Region, as she decides to hold her first-ever concert dubbed “The HomeComing” over there.
Born with her legal name as, Safadzi Abena Amesu, Sefa is currently signed to DBlack’s ‘Black Avenue Muzik’ label, the Record label responsible for grooming the songstress empowering her to serve her loud audience with hot, powerful, and hit songs.
According to the hardworking Ghanaian female singer, she thinks it is time to give back to her root, Volta Region after realizing most of the concerts, are being held in Accra, Kumasi, and Takoradi, while the likes of Volta sees none of these experiences.
Speaking in a recent interview on TV3, Sefa said; “During the Christmas period, we were playing a lot of shows. We were travelling to places. But nobody was doing it in the Volta region and the Northern region. I felt like that is where I come from. So I should just try something, so I went to Bolga, and I came back very recently.”
According to here while speaking about her aim or target for this concert, she said it is all love and to give back to her people, and that she is interested in making them thave the feeling that they have not been missing out in terms of entertainment, adding that because most of Ghana’s great musicians are from the Volta Region.
She added, “I want to go to the Volta region. Go and try something there because everybody is complaining that they never give us the big shows in the city. They are always doing it in other towns. We just said ok. Let’s try and work something out. Let’s give them something they can also be happy about. Because they have a lot of artists that are doing amazing here in Accra. So why can’t we go back to the Volta region and give back to them.”
Sefa Homecoming Concert: Venue/Time/Date
Well, Sefa’s ‘The Homecoming’ concert is however scheduled to come off on January 28th, 2022, at the Ho Sports Stadium, in the Volta Region of Ghana, and there will be no gate fee as it is free for all..
Aside Sefa being the host, the show will see performances from a whole lot of great Ghanaian artistes who will be passing through to support their sister make it happen.
The likes of D-Black, who happens to be her Record Label boss will be repping live, Kofi Mole, Mr. Drew, Kofi Jamar, Bisa Kdei, and many others will be performing live.
