Shatta Wale Urges Youths To ‘Vote Wisely’ Ahead Of December Election

Ghana’s dancehall musical artist, Shatta Wale has called on his fans and youths across Ghana to ‘Vote Wisely’ in the upcoming 2024 Election.

Ghana will be voting to elect a new president on December 7th, and with few weeks to the polls, the dancehall artist who goes by his legal name Charles Nii Armah Mensah had a few important words to share with his fanbase, the Shatta Movement Family.

During a recent performance at the just-ended Ghana Report Concert at the Independence Square in Accra, the ‘Ayoo’ singer pointed out the importance of voting in the upcoming General election.

Wale had to pause his performance and then told the fans to go out and vote, but also when voting, they should do it wisely and not just fall for any political party and later regret their actions.

“If you’re going to vote, please be wise about it.” Wale said, he continued by adding “Don’t fall for any fanfooling. I don’t want you to vote for some party and later come complaining. Vote wisely.”
