Billionaire entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson, recently named the third richest man in the UK, made his inaugural visit to Anfield after acquiring a minority share in Liverpool FC.
The Virgin Group founder, who sealed the deal just before the New Year, spent a fruitful three hours engaging with key executives and football operations personnel at the iconic stadium.
During the meeting, Branson, who secured a 20% stake in the club, held discussions with Liverpool’s CEO, Peter Moore, and Sporting Director, Michael Edwards.
