President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has emphasised that he alone bears responsibility for the current economic hardship in his capacity as head of state.

According to him, the head of state is accountable for managing the country’s finances under the Ghanaian constitution.

He concluded by saying that the president is ultimately responsible. While giving the State of the Nation speech in Parliament on Tuesday, February 27, he stated that “he or she takes the blame for the challenges.”

He emphasised that the issues are the president’s fault.

According to Hopeson Adorye, a former NPP member, the party would not win the general elections in 2024.

During the conclusion of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s State of the Nation Address, he stated that the party is pursuing opposition at all costs.

It is his last State of the Nation Address and it is this same State of the Nation Address that is taking them into opposition. So it is a handing over State of the Nation Address,” he stated in an interview with Atinka TV.

“They cannot win the 2024 election no matter what,”he emphasized.

It is anticipated that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will give updates on a number of topics, including as infrastructure, government, education, health, and the battle against corruption, as well as security.
