A contentious video featuring Ghanaian reggae dancehall artist Stonebwoy kissing Nigerian afrobeat artist Davido has gone viral on social media.

Even though the contentious kiss might not have been planned, supporters of the opposing side are using it to further their own agenda.

Davido arrived in Ghana yesterday, partly for vacation since it’s the holiday season and partly for business meetings with his brother who lives there.

The two went to an unknown nightclub as usual, and while they were screaming and chatting, they moved closer to try to hear each other’s voices, but their lips accidentally synced.
