Stonebwoy, the afro-dancehall sensation, has inked a worldwide distribution and label services agreement with ADA Worldwide, Warner Group’s independent label and artist services arm.

The collaboration with ADA, which is made possible by Stonebwoy’s own Burniton Group, also includes Stonebwoy’s sixth studio album, which is due out later this year.

With the help of ADA’s network, I can now take my music to a wider audience worldwide thanks to this partnership,” Stonebwoy said. “I’ve always wanted to bring people together by fusing hip hop, dancehall, reggae, and African music, or afrobeats.”

Since it’s been said that creativity thrives in an environment of freedom, I must own my creativity in order to meaningfully contribute to the world of music.

“Stonebwoy is unmatched by anyone. Cat Kreidich, President of ADA Worldwide, stated that “his genre-bending approach has struck a chord with millions of fans worldwide and he’s helped shine a light on the rich and vibrant sounds coming out of Africa.”

“He uses upbeat, emotionally charged music to spread love, positivity, and unity.” We are eager to help him further on the global stage with his own creative vision.

“I’m glad on behalf of KVO Talent to have brokered this global partnership between Warner’s ADA Worldwide and Stonebwoy’s label Burniton Group,” continued Stonebwoy’s talent manager, Casey Kobia.

Since our initial chat, the ADA team has been full of enthusiasm and energy, which has been exactly what Stonebwoy needs to open the next chapter in his journey. I am happy that he has joined our family, and I would especially like to thank April Pope and Bryan Roberts for making this possible.

Originating from Ashaiman, Ghana, Stonebwoy’s music combines dancehall, reggae, and afrobeat elements in a captivating blend.

With his 2017 album Epistles of Mama becoming the first Ghanaian artist to appear on the Billboard World Albums chart and his 2023 album 5th Dimension making its debut in the Top 10 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, the multifaceted singer has left his mark.

He became the first Ghanaian artist to get one million views on YouTube in just 24 hours after the release of his hit song “Blessing.” More recently, he became the first artist from Ghana to reach 100 million streams on Audiomack.

A highly regarded performer, Stonebwoy appears on the Grammy-nominated album Avrakedabra by Jamaican reggae band Morgan Heritage. He has collaborated with a number of notable artists, including Burna Boy, Stormzy, Keri Hilson, Sean Paul, Trey Songz, and more.

Throughout his career, Stonebwoy has won multiple accolades, such as Artist of the Year at the Ghana Awards and Best International Act at the BET Awards.

An innate live performer, he co-starred with Burna Boy at the historic Afrochella Festival (now known as Afrofuture) in 2022. In the past year, he has headlined events in over 15 countries, most recently at the Rolling Cocoa Festival.
