She died at age 76. This sad news comes as a shock to many as Suzanne Marie Somers lost her life to cancer, just a day to her 77th birthday.

In July, the entrepreneur revealed on Instagram that her breast cancer had returned after her first diagnosis in 2000.

“As you know, I had breast cancer two decades ago, and every now and then it pops up again, and I continue to bat it down,” she wrote. “I have used the best alternative and conventional treatments to combat it. This is not new territory for me. I know how to put on my battle gear and I’m a fighter.”

Suzanne Somers Dead: The actress according to her publicist, R. Couri Hay confirmed to Page Six that she died on Sunday morning, October 15th, 2023.

According to Couri, Somers passed away peacefully at home in the early hours of Sunday, and was surrounded by her loving husband, son, and her immediate family.

“Suzanne Somers passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of October 15th. She survived an aggressive form of breast cancer for over 23 years.

“Suzanne was surrounded by her loving husband Alan, her son Bruce, and her immediate family.” Couri said.

Hay noted that Somers’ family had planned to gather on what would have been her 77th birthday Monday.

“Instead, they will celebrate her extraordinary life, and want to thank her millions of fans and followers who loved her dearly. A private family burial will take place this week, with a memorial to follow next month,” he concluded.
