Takoradi fake pregnancy and kidnap saga: Josephine Panyin Mensah, 27, the woman who faked her own kidnapping and pregnancy is still in police custody after failing to meet bail conditions.
Josephine was charged with deceiving public officers and publication of false news to put fear in public and was also asked to provide two sureties.
Josephine was granted a bail of ¢50,000 in her first appearance at the Takoradi court on Monday, September 27, 2021, after her lawyer, Philip Fiifi Buckman, argued and pleaded his client gets bail.

Well, per new information gathered by Townflex, she is still in police custody as she failed to meet the terms and conditions on which she was granted bail on.
Her legal lawyer, Philip Fiifi Buckman, disclosed that his client could not meet the bail conditions set by the court, but is very certain with confidence she will be able to meet the terms of her bail on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.
